RECORDING SECRETARY
NOMINATION AND ELECTION NOTICE
On Sunday, JULY 25, 2010, Recording Secretary Tammy VanRiper resigned her position to run for Vice President. Therefore the office of Recording Secretary is vacant. In accordance with Local 14 bylaw Article VII, Section 2 the vacancy in the office of Local 14 Recording Secretary will be filled at the next Amalgamated membership meeting.
Nominations for RECORDING SECRETARY will be accepted from the floor at the Amalgamated membership meeting at the time, date and place indicated below:

TIME: 9:00 AM
PLACE: LOCAL 14 UNION HALL, 5411 JACKMAN ROAD, TOLEDO, OHIO
Article 38, Section 3 of the UAW Constitution states that nominees must be a member of Local 14 in continuous good standing for one (1) year.
Election will be held immediately following nominations at the Amalgamated membership meeting by secret ballot. The winner will be selected by majority vote. In the event of a tie or failure to achieve a majority vote, the two nominees with the highest votes will be in a run-off which will be held immediately. The nominee with the highest vote count in the runoff will be elected.
All members in good standing for at least one (1) year, including retirees are eligible to vote.
