AREA HIRE

After in plant recall/rehires, Area hire placements occur in the following order:

- GM Closed Plant volunteers in seniority order

- Volunteers from other GM plants and Delphi - i.e., GM laid off, active employees from plants with excess, return to former community and all Delphi (with 10/18/99 and earlier seniority date) in combined list seniority order

- GM non-volunteers from layoff (inverse seniority order)
